Last month, the Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) announced the winners of its 2024 Christmas Card Design Competition, showcasing the creativity and talent of students across the Archdiocese of Boston. This annual competition invites students to design Christmas cards that will be featured in CSF’s holiday greetings, which are sent to supporters to spread festive cheer. Among the winners, Hanna Nguyen, a 7th-grade student at Saint Agatha School, earned first place in the 7th-12th grade category. Her beautiful artwork was submitted through her teacher, Ms. Haley Hartin, Art Teacher at Saint Agatha School, and will be prominently featured on Saint Agatha School's 2024 Christmas card. The card will be sent to faculty, donors, and partners, allowing Hanna’s creative design to reach the school’s community and beyond. Saint Agatha School is proud to celebrate all the winners of the competition, with special congratulations extended to Hanna for her achievement. This recognition highlights the artistic talent cultivated at the school and reflects the abilities of the students as well as the encouragement provided by the faculty. Principal Gregg Chambers shares, "Our students continue to amaze us with their creativity and dedication. Hanna’s achievement is a testament to the hard work and support that defines Saint Agatha School, and we are thrilled to see her talents shine." The competition is part of the Catholic Schools Foundation’s mission to support students from families in need, providing them with opportunities for a high-quality education rooted in Christian values. Through programs like the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF), CSF ensures that thousands of children across Boston can attend Catholic schools regardless of their background. Saint Agatha School is proud to be part of this initiative and congratulates all the winners for their beautiful designs and contributions to spreading holiday cheer.
