Mark your calendars for Friday, October 4, as we gather on the Saint Agatha Church Patio at 7:45 AM for our beloved Blessing of the Pets event. Saint Agatha School families are invited to bring their pets to receive a special blessing from the Priests of Saint Agatha Parish. While the Blessing of Pets isn’t an official national holiday, it is celebrated in various communities across the U.S., particularly on or around October 4, which coincides with the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Known for his deep love for animals, St. Francis inspires many churches to hold services for this meaningful tradition. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the bond we share with our furry friends and to honor St. Francis’s legacy. We look forward to seeing you there!
