Saint Agatha School has awarded the 2025 Ronald and Debbie Falcione Scholarship to Nora V and Andrew K, recognizing their academic excellence and character. The full-tuition scholarship, founded by alum Ron Falcione and his wife Debbie, honors the lasting impact of Catholic education.

On March 8, 2025, Saint Agatha School hosted a successful Gala & Auction at Granite Links Ballroom, raising nearly $90,000 to support the school’s future. The event featured an exciting silent and live auction, along with heartfelt testimonials from key figures, all emphasizing the school’s profound impact, the importance of faith-based education, and the strength of its valued community.
Saint Agatha School is celebrating Literacy Month in March with a variety of engaging activities, including a bookmark design contest, a Tournament of Books, a Book Walk, a Book Donation Drive, more, all aimed to build a love for reading among students. The month’s events also include special reading initiatives, community involvement, and a focus on both fiction and nonfiction books, ensuring an exciting and educational experience for students of all ages.

Last week, Saint Agatha School experienced a memorable celebration of faith and community. Grade 6 students participated in the taping of the Catholic TV Mass, showcasing their dedication and involvement in worship. The week culminated in a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop Henning, with the school’s choir enhancing the liturgy. Students actively engaged in the Mass, reflecting the strong faith nurtured within the school. The Archbishop’s visit to the classrooms highlighted the faculty’s hard work. It was a week of inspiration, marking the strength of the Saint Agatha community.
What a fantastic kickoff to National Catholic Schools Week! Our Winter Open House at Saint Agatha School was filled with energy, excitement, and a strong sense of community. Our students proudly represented the school at five Masses, sharing their faith and pride, while our dedicated student and parent ambassadors ensured every prospective family felt welcomed and informed. This year’s coat drive saw an incredible response with a total of 461 coats donated by the families and parishioners of Saint Agatha School and the Parish.
Saint Agatha School is excited to be featured on the Catholic TV Mass on January 31!
Through our Campus Ministry program, students have actively participated in a variety of service projects, including food drives, gift wrapping for families in need, and a toy drive for local families. These hands-on initiatives help students grow in their understanding of Catholic values such as charity, kindness, and empathy.

Last month, the Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) announced the winners of its 2024 Christmas Card Design Competition. Hanna N., a 7th-grade student at Saint Agatha School, won first place in the 7th-12th grade category. Her artwork will be featured on the school’s 2024 Christmas card, sent to faculty, donors, and partners. Principal Gregg Chambers praised Hanna’s achievement, noting the school’s dedication to fostering creativity. The competition supports CSF’s mission to provide educational opportunities for students in need through programs like the Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF).
Last year, the Saint Agatha School Scholar Awards were launched, thanks to a generous grant from The Flatley Foundation in Braintree, MA. These awards provide tuition credits for families enrolling or re-enrolling students in Grades K2 through 8. In early 2025, applications will open for the 2025-2026 school year, as the grant has been renewed for another year. Details and the application form will be shared in the new year, and all eligible families are encouraged to apply.
Saint Agatha School welcomed Eileen McLaughlin, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, for a special visit. During her time at the school, she engaged with the leadership team, students, and staff. She also attended Mass and enjoyed a performance by the school’s talented chorus.
Last week, our Grade 8 students, along with their teachers and Principal Chambers, took a field trip to the Massachusetts State House in Boston, where they explored the inner workings of state government.
