Mrs. Erin Leary has been a dedicated first-grade teacher at Saint Agatha School since 2010. She began her teaching career at St. Ann School in Quincy and brings nearly 20 years of professional experience to her role. Mrs. Leary treasures the opportunity to create a nurturing classroom community each September, where she delights in watching her students learn, grow, and thrive throughout the year. While she has taught various grades over the years, first grade remains her favorite due to the remarkable academic, social, and physical development she witnesses in her students. Mrs. Leary holds a Master’s degree and is licensed for grades 1-6; she is also SEI Endorsed, underscoring her commitment to education. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, cooking, walking Wollaston Beach, taking fitness classes, and spending time with her friends and family. She is passionate about researching engaging activities for her students, dining out, listening to true crime podcasts, and binge-watching Netflix. An avid runner, Mrs. Leary has completed marathons in Newport and New York City, with Boston and LA still on her bucket list. She recently rescued a three-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua named Ruthie Ann from South Carolina.
