Mrs. Susan Devarennes, affectionately known as Mrs. D at Saint Agatha School, is a dedicated STEM teacher for grades 5 through 8 and also serves as a substitute teacher. With a Master’s degree and certification in the Orton-Gillingham (OG) Approach, she upholds the highest standards in addressing dyslexia through individualized instruction. Mrs. Devarennes has an impressive 40-year career in education, including 20 years with the Archdiocese and 20 years as a public school special needs teacher. Her extensive experience spans teaching science and reading from early childhood through high school. Passionate and knowledgeable, Mrs. D brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to her role at the middle school level at Saint Agatha School.
